RigData US rig count is 484 active rigs (down 26). 32 rigs are waiting to spud (down 9). 361 drilling permits were issued (down 28). 

This marks the 1st week that it drops below 500 for 2016. As we tally it, the US active land rig count will continue its decline in another week-to-week drop, from 409 to 391,
