According to a recent survey conducted for RigData’s Land Rig Newsletter, pay cuts, employee layoffs, and even more day rate price concessions were mentioned most often by drillers struggling to survive in today’s shrinking rig market. Drillers cited 16 strategic choices, shown in the nearby table, that they have put in place to cope with today’s abysmal market conditions.
