​As of May 1, 2018 the California Department of Conservation's WellSTAR system is inaccessible.  This is the result of the scheduled upgrade to WellSTAR  taking longer than previously anticipated.

As of May 21, California DOC estimates the upgraded WellSTAR to be back online in August 2018. WellSTAR is the industry's primary source of California permit data.
